We strive to balance making our services affordable with the need to keep the practice viable within the current Medicare system.
We continue to:
- Bulk bill veterans
- Bulk bill pensioners or Health Card Holder who are renting and don’t own a property
- Only charge pensioners, children under 16, Healthcare Cardholders, Senior Healthcare Cardholders, and full-time students once a year for their first consultation in the surgery. Phone and video consultations continue to be bulk billed for this group of patients.
- Bulk bill all flu and COVID injections
- Bulk bill all Management Plans, Health Assessments and Mental Health Plans.
- Bulk bill patients who are experiencing significant financial difficulty. Please do not delay seeing us because you can’t afford the fee. Just let us know at the time of the consultation.
For all other patients, the fees will be as follows:
We are able to claim the rebate for you, and it will be paid into your allocated bank account.
There may be a charge of up to $30 for transferring a file to another medical practice to cover administration time and postage.
